Work Zone Safety!

While we work to improve the transportation system throughout the city, you will likely encounter construction work zones throughout the entire year. As the City works to improving your travel and safety, it is important to pay special attention while moving through work zones.

Workzone safety tips:

Slow down to give yourself time to stop.

Pay attention to new/temporary signage.

Keep a safe distance between you and the car in front of you.

Stay alert when workers are present.

Limit distractions such as talking on a cell phone or eating.

Buckle up!
