  • 72nd & Maple Street - (Updated October 29, 2020)
    • Beginning Friday, October 30, 2020, Westbound Maple Street traffic will change from its current pattern. 
  • 120th Street - Stonegate to Fort Street (Updated January 19, 2021)
    • Beginning Monday, January 25, 2021, 120th Street north of West Maple Road will be closed at the Big Papillion Creek for bridge construction.
  • 156th St - Pepperwood to Corby Street - (Updated December 17, 2020)
    • Project is complete and fully opened to traffic. Miscellaneous items remain and will take place periodically through Spring 2021.

  • 168th Street - West Center Road to Pacific Street - (Updated December 31, 2020)
    • Effective Monday, January 4, 2021, South 168th Street will be closed to through traffic from Pacific Street to West Center Road until further notice. This closure is to allow for utility relocation by OPPD. Construction on the roadway reconstruction project is anticipated to begin in March 2021.
  • Crown Point Ave from Blair High Road to 74th Court - (Updated December 17, 2020)
    • Work continues on Crown Point Avenue from the intersection of 78th Street to 74th Court.
    • Weather permitting, Crown Point Avenue will open again to traffic by the end of December 2020.
    • Miscellaneous items of construction work will continue to take place through Spring 2021.

Work Zone Safety!

While we work to improve the transportation system throughout the city, you will likely encounter construction work zones throughout the entire year. As the City works to improving your travel and safety, it is important to pay special attention while moving through work zones.

Workzone safety tips:

Slow down to give yourself time to stop.

Pay attention to new/temporary signage.

Keep a safe distance between you and the car in front of you.

Stay alert when workers are present.

Limit distractions such as talking on a cell phone or eating.
