Q Street, 27th to 36th Street

This project will focus on multimodal safety improvements on Q and 30th Streets that will increase walkability, reduce traffic speeds, enhance safety for all users, and make the corridor a more welcoming place.

  • Safety enhancements on Q Street, including intersection work at 30th and 33rd Streets
  • New wider sidewalks and ADA ramps with improved crosswalks on both Q Street and 30th Street
  • Rebuilding driveway approaches
  • New streetlights
  • Storm sewer modifications

  • Survey – Summer 2025
  • Preliminary Design – Fall 2025 to Winter 2026
  • Final Design – Spring 2026 to Fall 2026
  • Construction Begins – Spring 2027
